How We Came to Own
Pinedale Cozy Cabins

Hello,
Dan and I both grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and I never thought we would leave. However, once we started a family, Dan had this crazy idea that he wanted to move to a small mountain town to raise our children.

After years of searching, we found Pinedale and made the move in 1997. Our two girls were just one and three years old at the time. It has been a blessing to live in a town with so much natural beauty and in a community that is diverse, talented and committed to keeping the quality of life only a small town can offer.

We loved raising our girls in Pinedale and are thankful that we made the leap over 25 years ago. We spend summers sailing, boating, kayaking and hiking and the winters snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

Over the years our family and friends have come and visited the area. Usually we can house our visitors in comfort. However, ten years ago, we had a family reunion on my side of the family to celebrate our mom’s 80th birthday. With five siblings, spouses and their kids coming to town, I found Pinedale Cozy Cabins to accommodate most of the out of town family.

The week was magical. We gathered on the generous porches while the kids played in the center grass area. We had BBQs in the picnic grilling area. We attended music in the park across the way from the Cabins. The Cabins made for the perfect week of family time.

After the reunion, we always had a fond place in our hearts for the Pinedale Cozy Cabins and would always recommend it to family and friends. It was always a great stay for anyone who booked at the cabins.

In 2020, the Cabins went on the market. Dan and I decided we wanted to make them our own and continue the tradition of a home away from home experience for those who stayed with us. Whatever your reason for visiting Pinedale, Wyoming, I look forward to welcoming you to Pinedale Cozy Cabins.

Nora and Dan Farrand

On my first visit to Pinedale, I stayed here. The cabins are adorable and affordable. It was a very nice, relaxing stay. My cabin had two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. It was nice to have a full kitchen stocked with all the cooking supplies. Thank you Nora for a great stay!
Until next time!
